Got an obvious scam call today but kinda interesting for this one. They claim that they’re from Amazon advertising a new tv service with local and international channels for $20 a month after an initial $200 box fee, which would be shipped by “either UPS or FedEx” (if they were real they would know which). They were speaking hindi in the background btw (I’m Pakistani and instantly recognized the Hindi)
These guys are a bit interesting, sometimes to get numbers to do research, I will claim my reception is bad and ask for a callback number in case I disconnect. When I first tried this, they disconnected immediately. Fortunately, someone else called back like four hours later and I got the info.
They gave me a confirmation number and said that I need to call by 9pm EST, and then gave me their number and said the payments would be through Amazon Gift Cards.
I don't have any info besides the phone number and some string google searches don't seem to turn up anything.

I suspect with how simplistic the confirmation code is, you can give them any 3 digits after the AM and it won't matter.
