Hi, recent ly my father has been scammed for aroung 200000 thai baht even though we didnt live in Thai. I need your help to get us the money back as the transaction happen using credit card which my father happen to be using the link that given for receival of his parcel for vehicle license. Please help us. It is a lot of money

My father wanted to renew his license online. So, he has to pay for the delivery fee of the newest license which the payment was requested using whatsapp. Then, my father click the link for the transaction and directed to a merchant payment which he considered it safe at first. And the transaction happened around 2 am which he might no be fully awake and later enter the otp received without realizing thb was shortform as thai baht. Later, that morning he realized the transaction was around 5000$ from his credit card without any banker inform him or ask for confirmation. If it was huge amount of money the banker usually would double check with the credit card owner. However in this case the credit card just done the transaction.

Your Father needs to contact his bank, make a police report and if he clicked the link on a phone, he should have his phone checked for malware same for pc. Close his bank account and open a new one that isn’t compremised.
