Scammer threatened physical violence and rape when called out

Received a call from 424-502-0123 and 424-502-0169 for a “federal government grant scam” - I informed him I never applied for any type of grant so his call to me is unsolicited. He asked why he would be calling me, I said he was likely a scammer and went to hang up when he went ballistic and started yelling and threatening me.

His exact words:
"You know what, you call me a scammer and I am a very bad man. I will come to your house tonight at midnight and rape you then eat you"

I responded with "you will do what?"

He repeated his threat adding "I will come to your house at midnight and kill you"

I said I was going to call the police about it and hung up, but I am honestly not sure if they would do anything about it so I am posting it here.

Hey, did he had Indian accent in his voice ? If so, those are just scammers and they will not do anything, they just want to scare you.

@fairbloommktg#74566 Honestly, I don’t think they’re capable of being really threatening, other than running their mouths. All They do sit behind phones and computers all day; so unless you give them your identity, You have nothing to be worried about lol. This sounds kinda nonchalant but I think they’re mostly novice, naive and lost.
