Hi guys! My mom just received a scam call phishing for her credit card information. She shared the card number and expiration date but did not share the cvv and grew suspicious. I called the bank and got the card blocked, thankfully nothing was stolen.
I was really pissed off so I decided to call this scammer from my own number, but he was busy scamming someone else and didn’t pick up my call.
I have a feeling that this guy or his group is only targeting domestically and would not speak English (but feel free to try). Therefore, fellow Indians or anyone who speaks Hindi, feel free to call this guy(s) at - +919760582609.
This guy claimed to be from Axis Bank and offered my mom a cashback of Rs.10,000 for being a loyal customer and for the fact that it’s her birthday. It’s really messed up.
Anyhow, I don't know how mods verify posts but this number has been reported as scammer on truecaller app, maybe that might help.
