I posted an item on offerup app… had a person who wanted to purchase the item but while chatting on text, I discovered that this person was trying to scam me by sending a check in the mail, including extra fee for shipping, then I must withdraw money to pay shipper… long story. But I have seen this before and knew it was a scam. Now he has my contact details and I need to make sure he does not scam anyone else. Will this person use my contact details ie phone, name, address to do something to me? This is so upsetting!!!
The scam name used on this was Candee and number used was from Illinois - Tel number +1 440 299 8041.
PLEASE BLOCK THIS NUMBER. IT IS A SCAMMER!!!!
