Earlier today, I was cold called by a refund scammer. The call quickly escalated to the guy telling me he was scared and just wanted to go back home and leave New Delhi, clearly crying over the phone. I’ve seen other youtubers like pleasant green have very similar scenarios. He did give me a VoIP number and a e-mail, I will be talking to him later today (Assuming hes Legit)
@ExMarti#147571 Non of them are legit. I have one I am texting with right now. He thinks I am a blind girl and live alone with my dog. He says he will marry me. Of course, he has no money and he will eventually hit me up to sponsor him to come to the US. He thinks he has a live one but does not know he is being played. Do not buy into their sad sob stories. There is a scam in there somewhere. They have no guilt, no conscience, and no soul. I have been dealing with them for 11 years and every one I tried to help turned out to be out for money in one way or another. Lead him on and let him think you will help him and then drop him hard.
Most scammers are not legit, but some of them only scam because they can’t find a better life in India. There are not many jobs out in New Delhi, scamming operations are jobs that you have to pay little far to get into and get paid Rs.4000-Rs.5000 every month. In India, rupees are a lot more in than the US. Rs.4000 is 64 American dollars. That means the world to a scammer. If you watch Trilogy Media on YouTube, they save scammers lives and promote positivity through the videos. Try watching the videos, and you’ll understand. For the person that made this comment, I would recommend you do as you were going to do but have the scammer send you video footage of what they’re doing to get out of new delhi. Or wherever they’re going. Good luck with it.
I’ve spoken to a few of them who have said similar things to me. I end up getting their personal number, and we talk from there. This one guy begged me to help his poor family and that he was in need. He asked me to go to a local walmart and get a 500 dollar walmart gift card. He said that gift card will help him and his family. I knew it wasn’t legit as soon as he said walmart gift card. He said he was inlove with me and would keep calling me everyday begging to help him. I would never do it. He stopped calling a few weeks ago.
@Norwegian_scambaiter#147585 Sorry, but you cannot trust them. They would steal from their own mothers. I have no sympathy at all after listening to it for 11 years. I have tried to help them and have gotten burned every single time. And when they do not get what they want, they threaten gang rape and mutilation an murder.
@theloneranger#147589 He was scamming you. Do not ever fall for it.

Honestly he did seem to have a few plot holes in his story. However im at least willing to hear what he has to say. I was thinking about doing the same thing @Norwegian_scambaiter said and have him take some every day life pictures. He should be calling any minute now.
And FYI to everyone, I will NOT give him a single penny. I’m just curious to see everyone elses situation with this.
Don’t give him anything. I usually just keep playing their game until they give up. They usually come up with any type of story to sound real so they can get money out of you. One of the tactics they use on me is telling me how inlove they are with me and so on so that they hope I catch feelings and give in which leads into the romance scam (in my opinion) but yeah, wise choice not to give them a penny. I give fake codes over and over again to keep it going until they just give up and freak out on me. But becareful, some of them can get nasty if they don’t get what they want!
I would just hang up the call and block him straightaway. I don’t have time to waste listening to someone’s silly stories i have my OWN family to feed first!!
