Falsely Claims:

Once remotely connected to my virtual machine, the bhenchod asked me to fill out a “cancellation and refund form” and log into my nonexistent bank account. But since I don’t do online banking, the bhenchod transferred the call to his “refund department” by opening the Command Prompt.
- I was then asked to provide my full name and “refund amounts” of $1,000 and $820, which he attempted to manipulate by adding an additional 0 at the end before blanking my screen with a fake software update and asking me to withdraw $6,200 from my bank account.
- After I told him my bank was closed for the weekend, the bhenchod attempted to get me to purchase Apple gift cards from a nearby CVS before locking my controls and trying to find an open bank for me to go to and attempting to get me to purchase a Visa eGift card.
