I can't recall the number off by heart, but one of the scam numbers I called redirected me to California City PD, and instinctively before anything else, I cancelled the call. Is there any repercussions for this? I'm pretty sure the number was legit as it was on BobRTC and there were menu options beforehand.
Unfortunately, I don’t have recordings enabled, and I don’t think the call was above the threshold to count towards being activity. It was listed as a Microsoft tech support scam. I’m still worried about police picking up however, though I didn’t say anything before disconnecting…
