What kind of scam is this
Is someone baiting these people?
Welcome to the community @Jerr ![]()
Great to have you aboard! It’s helpful to try and include what scam it is so people can be more prepared when they call.
I added “printer support” in the header. I called and eventually got it out of him. ![]()
I called over and over. Got an American guy cussing. I didn’t say anything. Called back again and got.
He got angry with me and all I did was ask how the weather is in India this evening. ![]()
He told me (with a thick Indian accent ) that he was born and raised in California then proceeded with a string of obscenities. ![]()
I really wish I knew who that was. Sounded southern.
That’s interesting. The guy I got spoke to had a really heavy Indian accent.
It’s going to VM now, so I left two messages from different numbers while using a voice changer. I’m curious to see who calls me back. ![]()
I got back to back like 15 times. One of the calls was chod making moaning sounds. Kept calling, heard a couple beeps, and then the guy said you keep calling and don’t say anything you red bellied cocksucker MF, then he hung up. I’m sure it was a baiter.

Sounds like one of our crew had him less than pleased.
These printer support scammers are usually not the worst ones out there, but they connect to people, add a free driver, charge them $299 and convince (scare) them that they need other “protection software” and charge them for more freeware.
Honestly I hoped it was you. Since you starting replying after they hung up.
It actually may have been my “infinite call” app. It’s calls and disconnects after whatever time you set, then calls them right back. I run it on two cell phones and it usually annoys them sufficiently. It’s a free app too. You can set it to call from 1 time, up to 99,999 times.
So it’s not an actual person?
If it’s one of yours send me some audio recording through the PM
