Roku Activation Scam: 877-246-8818
My goodness the Roku activation scam is a hot one these days.
First, activating a Roku is free once you buy the device. These guys want to charge $99 for a lifetime subscription.
Second, it is noteworthy how you call these numbers and hear a recording “welcome to support team”. How much more generic can you get! That’s a huge indicator it’s a scam. A legitimate business will put their REAL business name on such a menu but a scammer will always make it vague and generic. Hopefully their continued use of generic menu phrases will cause some potential victims to pause before handing over their money.
