On October 23, 2025, the Ross County Sheriff’s Office in Chillicothe, Ohio arrested 33-year-old Rodrigo Garcia Lavera and 28-year-old Neiker Jose Rodriguez Teran for stealing nearly $59,000 from an elderly resident through an undisclosed PayPal scam. $44,000 were lost via an electronic transfer and the two arrived at the victim’s doorstep to collect an additional $15,000, which was seized and recovered during the arrest.
The two are now under hold with Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) given they never entered the states legally. As such, I HOPE THEY ENJOY GAUTMO!
