Scam Number: 406 505-5665
These criminals place ads on Craigslist and others for fake properties. They try to get you to fill out an application to get your personal information, then one month security deposit
Haha, @MajorLeeAwesome! When I read the title of this thread and the word “Renal,” I thought it was a new scam about how the victim has renal failure and how the scammers will sell the victim a healthy kidney!
They use the spelling “r’ent” and it seems they do not know that the apostrophe is not part of the word RENT! Also, “Hello dear” is interesting verbiage to use!

If I wake up in a dark alley with an ice pack on my back, I’ll know what happened
Haha!
I called. A woman with a foreign accent answered with only hello. I asked her what her first name is. She answered with what sounded like Sarah Williams, but when I called her Sarah she corrected me and said her name is Flora.
I said I wanted to know how much the rent is. She said she sent me an email with the price. I said that I must have mistakenly deleted the email.
She asked what I am looking for and where I am looking.
I answered, “Kansas City, Misery.” (She did not seem to notice my piss poor pun concerning Missouri/Misery.)
She asked if I want one or two bedrooms. I replied, “I am looking for a two-bedroom house.” She asked, “So it is you and your partner?” I replied, “No, it is me and one of my adult nephews.” She asked if we have pets. I replied, “No, we can barely afford to feed ourselves.”
She asked me my name and I gave her Pavol Kapusta.
She asked me my credit score. I replied, “762.”
She said she’ll send me one email about the rent and address for this two-bedroom house in KCMO and that she’ll send me another email about verifying my credit score.
She asked me for my email address at this point.
I said, “You have my email address.”
She said, “No, no, I do not have your email address. I need your email address to send you the two emails.”
I informed her that she said in the beginning of our 'phone call that she had sent me an email with the price of the rent.
She protested, “How can I have your email address? I do not know you.”
I replied, “Exactly, you do not have my email address but you said in the beginning of this telephone call that YOU had sent me an email with the amount of the rent in reply to my question about how much the rent is.”
“Flora Williams” hung up.
I do not know how this type of scam works.
Haha, I do not think that she fully understands how this type of scam is supposed to work!
EDIT:
I am calling from a different phone number. I got a foreign woman named “Monica” supposedly. Now I am just insulting 'em.
I’ve been making up town names and they always have a rental there. ![]()

Wow, my first call to Flora Williams was from my TextMe number.
I am back into my TextMe app and I received a text msg from (216) 508-9471.
The text message reads verbatim, “Call again now for rent house 8338910070.”
So a TEXTNOW number sent me the text message.
I just looked up (833) 891-0070 on the internet using Google. I did not see any links that are for this specific toll-free number.
Of course what reputable company sends a text message from the TextMe app?
Now I am calling (833) 891-0070. A guy with foreign accent answered with only hello. I said, “Hello, I received a text message.”
He said, “I am David. Are you looking to rent?”
I said, “Yes. I want to rent a small house in Saint Joseph, Missouri.” He said, “I have a couple of houses there.”
He asked my credit score. I said 760.
He asked for my email address so he can send me the credit score link and the addresses.
I said, “Just text to me the addresses to see if I even want them. There is no need for a credit check if I do not want these rental houses at the specific addresses that you send me in a text message.”
He stopped speaking yet the counter on my TextMe call continues to tick and is now 7 minutes and 6 seconds. I hear nothing on his end of the call.
I am guessing they are wanting to get personal information for the “credit check” and maybe to a lesser extent email addresses that they can sell to others.
It seems they have this toll-free number (833) 891-0070.

Yes @MajorLeeAwesome, that (833) 891-0070 number you posted is what is in the text message!
Wow, they have numerous toll-free numbers! We’ll see if their toll-free numbers will block my TextMe/TextNow/TextFree numbers!
So I have called at least once every toll-free number currently in this thread. Some foreign men and women answered the calls, all of them only with hello.
With the (888) 806-3147 and (844) 415-1925. I asked each woman, “Yes, have I dialed the correct number? What is the name of the company for which you work?” With the (888) 806-3147 number, the woman just hung up immediately.
With the (844) 415-1925 number, a different foreign woman answered [Some abbreviation] Homes. I asked about the abbreviation to clarify, and it sounded like she was saying “ITO Homes.”
I found a URL for https://itooriogroup.com/ using Google to search ITO Homes. The site says they sell and buy houses. In the Contact area of the website, it does not have any TOLL-FREE number.
I wonder how many people fall for this scam? These criminals are dodgy to say the least.
