Additional information about this scam: A post on Nextdoor about a house for rent….WAY BELOW market value…led me to this Nigerian (probably due to his thick accent) scammer. He didn’t pick up at first, but called me back. Says he owns the house 
.
After me establishing that he doesn’t own the house, he hung up. Then called back just to say….“don’t call this number again”.

This number is still active, I just got a random text from this number.. It stated, I miss your call.
He gave me a callback from (984) 274-2375 wants to rent me a house in LA for 17k monthly.. aka Alex
I’m trying to follow up on this, but not an expert at all with these types, he sent the following to a fake email of mine. From: [email protected] and this jotform link: RENTAL APPLICATION FORM it’s a rental application form. My best geuss is that he’s Nigerian. Hope to follow up more soon.
You are probably right…about him being Nigerian. And jot form isn’t working any longer.
