Claims to be a landlord and wants to rent house at a ridiculously low price. House that doesn’t belong to him, of course. Bad grammar, unable to write coherently. House is supposedly in North Carolina.
Picked up. I reserved to look at the property next Saturday.
Did you google the address? And find out he DOES NOT own it? What was address?

Oh right! That house is owned by Invitation Homes and their website explicitly says that if anyone finds this listing on social media sites, IT’S A SCAM!

I tried calling as well. Pretty suspicious if he’s trying to get people to sign up! I’m not as familiar with these types of scam, but I’m going to try to see about getting banking information if I’m able to connect with the Scammer.
They want you to use YOUR personal information to post fake rentals on various sites….which is actually illegal without a realtor license (in California). Then you pass on the potential renters to THEM and they collect the “refundable deposit” ….which is NEVER refundable. These people are usually in Nigeria….so I’m not sure how they get the money. Possibly using people in the USA as money mules.
