Hi all!
The instant messaging feature on the site seems underutilized, we are trying to cut fat and are considering removing it to reduce redundancy.
Without the instant messaging feature you will still be able to directly message other users through Discourse’s built in private messaging and publicly message through posts to general discussion or out of band channels.
Please feel free to reply with your insights about the chat feature.
