Got called from this number saying my amazon account was gonna be charged for $299

Got the late shift before they went home 6am Delhi time. Got about 30 minutes or so recorded before they gave up and said they would call me back tomorrow. You can tell they were dead tired, mumbling more so than normal, and I swear the guy who answered was fully asleep and I woke him. Passed off to David and then to Kevin the supervisor (Kevin cannot speak clearly at all so I asked for David again) They gave me a passcode, if anyone calls–I am to ask for the passcode and hang up if they are incorrect. This is gonna be a fun one!
i got on to them spoke for 94 minutes , they tried to connect o my IPHONE , i dragged that out, then at last minute said i don’t want to risk Amazon sending me advertisements on my phone , they are so convincing ,i wanted to do it to see what they would do but i have bank app’s so its a no go . i said i did not want any agency government or AMAZON seeing my personal phone blah blah , “we are not seeing it sir its the amazon secure server” i dragged that out whilst i said i wanted to google the deam biewer , the what ? deem bewer how to spell it again …
in the end they accepted i would not connect my iphone so we moved to my computer , i then played that out for awhile then i got bored as we where just repeating the same arguments . I DO NOT WANT AMAZON to send me AD’S on my computer either . i got bored so hung up , they are still calling my textnow number …
I must add thats one of the first Live numbers i have got from here ! ,got to be quick i guess

@drwat#151272 Still active… really easily confused. $299 to renew your amazon… unless you already renewed, then it’s $299 refund because they renewed you anyway. I asked “So Amazon Screwed up” and he said “Yes Sir”. Wants you to go to the usual refund form… I asked “I’ve received dozens of refunds and never needed to access any form… is this something that you guys have to do over in India”… and he said “Yes sir”! Played with him a bit more until he got fed up and dropped the call.
