Amazon refund scam. Currently active./

I told the guy that I renewed my annual subscription last month.. he said "ok, hold on and let me checkee". Then he said "Yes, I see you renewed your subscription last month - do you want a refund". I said, "No, I renewed my subscription two months ago, your information is incorrect". He said "Please hold and let me checkee". Then got back on and said "You are correct sir, you renewed your subscription two months ago - would you like a refund?". I told him "No, I renewed my annual subscription in January, so I still have a little less than half a year left on it". He said "Please hold, let me checkee". Got back on and said "You are correct sir, my records show that you renewed your subscription in January - do you want a refund for the renewal that was made on your account today?". I said, "No, you must be mistaken, I renewed my annual subscription just last month".
He hung up for some reason <grin>
