On February 19, 2025, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police arrested Toronto residents Chakib Mansouri (29) and Majdouline Alouah (31) for stealing millions of dollars from at least 570 Canadian victims whilst posing as employees of banks, government agencies or police departments. Their calls were also made using spoofed numbers through the platform iSpoof.cc, which according to a WhoIs lookup was registered in the Tambov district of the Russian Federation.
Police have also seized several electronic devices during the arrests. The two suspects are held in police custody and are due to appear in court on Friday, February 21, 2025.
I am really curious if they are foreign nationals or citizens. Here in the US we’ve let the scammers move their families here to help in their scams. In my area they get special treatment, my state will help hide them from the federal gov, lower any criminal charges or drop them altogether to keep foreign national criminals from jail and deportation. We give them a drivers license, food card, bankcard, healthcare including dental and move them to the front of the line for housing. I am just curious if they were getting the same special treatment (if foreign nationals/student visas)
It is even worse in affluent EU nations, such as Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Netherlands (I’ve been to all of those) etc. Their imbecilic bleeding-heart liberal governments are too busy being “Captain Charity” saving the world’s worst hoodlum rapists, terrorists and chomos. I’ve never quite understood the purpose of it. I know their populations are declining due various factors and they need people… Yet, do they SERIOUSLY believe that some serial rapist Kumar and his chomo brother Habib would magically become neurosurgeons and electrical engineers one day? Most of them don’t even want to work as cleaners, drivers or production workers! Bulgarians, Romanians and other Eastern European peoples tend to fill those roles, while “Kumar Habibs” are chilling at their subsidized housing in Stockholm and Munich with 8 kids.
Needless to say, Canada is often copying every stupid liberal idea they come across. Just like NY, CA, New England and few others here.
On another note, despite being super wealthy, most of the Nordic nations and Germany refuse to contribute even 2% to NATO… Hmm, I think I see where their money is going now.
