Ransom Pornographic Bitcoin Scam

My uncle received an email from an unknown individual revealing his old password from a website he frequently uses. And it basically consists of blackmailing. My uncle did not include the email to me but worse case it would not matter as the actual message is what people should be concerned about.

"****" hidden password for security reasons

Email:
"I am aware **** is your password. Lets get straight to the point. You may not know me and you are probably thinking why you're getting this e mail? No person has compensated me to check about you.

Let me tell you, I placed a malware on the adult vids (adult porn) web site and guess what, you visited this website to experience fun (you know what I mean). When you were watching videos, your web browser initiated functioning as a Remote Desktop having a key logger which provided me accessibility to your screen as well as web cam. Just after that, my software gathered your entire contacts from your Messenger, Facebook, as well as emailaccount. Next I made a double-screen video. First part shows the video you were viewing (you have a nice taste omg), and second part displays the view of your webcam, yeah it is u.

There are two possibilities. Let us understand the possibilities in aspects:

Very first solution is to ignore this email. In that case, I most certainly will send your actual videotape to each of your your personal contacts and also visualize about the humiliation you can get. Not to forget should you be in a romance, how it can affect?

Next solution will be to give me $7000. We will refer to it as a donation. In this case, I will quickly eliminate your video footage. You could continue your way of life like this never occurred and you never will hear back again from me.

You will make the payment through Bitcoin (if you do not know this, search "how to buy bitcoin" in Google search engine).

[case-SENSITIVE so copy and paste it]

If you are looking at going to the cop, good, this message can not be traced back to me. I have dealt with my actions. I am not attempting to ask you for a lot, I prefer to be compensated. You now have one day to make the payment. I've a special pixel within this email message, and right now I know that you have read through this mail. If I don't receive the BitCoins, I will definitely send out your video recording to all of your contacts including relatives, coworkers, and many others. Nevertheless, if I do get paid, I'll destroy the video immediately. If you really want proof, reply with Yes! then I will certainly send your video to your 6 friends. It is a nonnegotiable offer, and so don't waste my time & yours by responding to this e mail."

Well, I dont know how true of a blackmail this is (meaning if he really does have video proof), but he has not been paid as of yet, per his wallet info.

No transactions found for this address, it has probably not been used on the network yet.

I got this shot today. I told them my family already knows I’m into anime

Do not see this as a valid BTC address

I haven’t checked the BTC address but this is already a very common email scam. Not sure how they got the old password, but they probably got more than your uncle. Honestly you could just mess with them and tell them you’d love for everyone to see the video

I guess they get old passwords from a website breach, which is logical

@ArmenianDude#41199

That is very likely and I forgot to add that you could check haveibeenpwned to see if it was compromised in an earlier breach, assuming he signed up for the site with that email. And once again, no need to worry since pretty much everyone involved in the breach should've gotten the baloney scam email.
