Carrier: Five9.
Answers as: “Modernize Home Services”

While I am unable to bait the scammers directly, as they only accept calls from numbers recognized on their system, I was able to identify the culprits as Modernize Home Services, a BBB-accredited marketing agency that is listed as operating out of 804 Congress Avenue, Suite 400, Austin, Texas, 78701-2651.

The company is a subsidiary of QuinStreet, Inc. at 950 Tower Lane, Suite 1200, Foster City, California, 94404 and also operates as:

User complaints on their Google, BBB and TrustPilot listings indicate patterns of fraudulent activity, such as:

  • Repeatedly making unsolicited robocalls and failing to maintain an internal do-not-call list, thereby violating the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

  • Fraudulently sharing the personal information about their clients to contractors without their formal consent.

The company was sued by 15 state attorneys general in June 2012 for operating GIBill.com to target and recruit military veterans into their for-profit school clients by misleading them into believing that the sites are funded by the federal government. The company settled these claims by handing their website and $2.5 million over to the federal government and changing some of their practices.

I collected many of these and a whole lot more after coming across way too many numbers for all these entities.
There is plenty more companies which all have the common QuinStreet phone number listed as their number
