Additional information about this scam: I recently had a concerning experience with a QuickBooks tech support scam that I’d like to share. While seeking help for a technical issue, I dialed what I thought was a legitimate support number. However, the encounter was far from genuine. The scammer used pressure tactics, requested remote access to my computer, and demanded payment for their “services.” Luckily, I recognized the scam before making any payments.
