Found a report online about a scam using QuickBooks, I’ve heard those are a bit difficult to “bait” but I gave it a shot.
Steve answered and wanted to get CC info right away, but I just gave him the runaround and he almost gave up, but alas he found my account miraculously to charge me!

Their answering prompt says they are support for QuickBooks then when confronted they walk that back.
No grey area here, they misrepresented themselves and when confronted, they ran away and hung up. Any legit ‘support’ company would be more than happy to provide their REAL name. Also no legit company would ask for your CC without providing a service first.
