Question

Is it safe calling the SSN scammers? They can’t get any info of mine, right? Obviously I wouldn’t tell them anything, I just want to troll them. I use a Google Voice number, so it doesn’t come up as my cell nor the state I live in. I’d love to waste their time, but I always worry they can somehow figure out my actual phone number or something

@OldManJenkins#100796 if you’re using BobRTC / TextNow or any other service then they cannot see your real number and if you don’t give them your real info you’re safe to go.

Use an app where you can spoof your phone number. Also, within the apps under your account you can put your name. Obviously don’t use your real names. I’ve had scammers get pissed off at me (without me saying what my name was) and will say something like, “well Mr. Xyz, fuck you too”.

They obviously have some sort of caller ID. My favorite is to make my name Benjamin Chode. When they ask for my first named, I’ll say Ben. When they ask for my last name, I’ll say Chode. When they hear this they flip and and say “WHAT!?” And I just say, “You asked for my name. My name is Ben Chode. My full name is actually Benjamin Chode but everybody just calls me Ben”. This confuses the hell out of them.

For those unaware, saying ben chode in Hindi to somebody is the equivalent of saying they fuck their sister. Literally translates to “sister fucker”.

@NeeP#100811 hey neep is bobrtc workin for you??

@Scambaiter956#100828 should be fixed now :slight_smile: There were some bugs but I think now it’s fixed. Clear cache and cookies for BobRTC.live though

@NeeP#100811 Is Google Voice good? I chose a different number from a different state but I think the service works off of my actual phone number or something so I’m just not sure. Any recommendations for fake phone apps that can be used on a laptop?

@Kennyy#100819 Haha yeah, I know that from watching spam trolling videos on youtube (Kitboga is a great one). I was using Google Voice to make the call.

@NeeP#100832 yess jus did that an it workin good now thanxz:grin::call_me_hand:

@OldManJenkins#100850 there’s also grandma edna sister scammer payback channel lmao

@OldManJenkins#100847 I haven’t used Google Voice yet so I can’t judge :confused:

Fake apps: BobRTC (our new service offered by Scammer.info user “Kenzo”), TextNow.com (apps for iOS/Android and PC website, doesn’t let you change callerID) and Talkatone (just mobile apps, doesn’t let you change callerID).

More about BobRTC here: http://scammer.info/d/21904-the-new-scambaiting-calling-service-is-now-live/

Also Kitboga is not a professional scambaiter. I wouldn't go after what he and others like IRLrosie are doing. They are calling with their phones which is incredible insecure cuz the scammers might spam your number and sell it to other scammers. I sometimes get 10 calls per day just from scammers on my throwaway TextNow number.

@NeeP#100906 Speaking of which, that would be something to see IRLrosie actually get into a refund scammer’s

or tech support’s computer and actually start deleting files while distracting them with a song or something…

@JoeHimself5#100911 yeah true but she does just prank calls only :confused: I don’t think she has ever used a computer in her videos but I might be wrong. Not really watching her.

@NeeP#100914 I have sent you a request on Discord. Lets chat.Got alot to talk

Never seen her do anything with the computer apart from type things in her live chats. She doesn’t hack. She is only an entertainer / prank caller. Funny though.

I reckon kitbogga could (He's got the smarts). Trilogy is like irlrosie but just a lot cruder.

@madmax#100953 tbh I don’t like that they get all the views. They’re just doing entertaining and sometimes not really that funny. I mean what they do is nothing special. They call the scammers and call them names. I also do some prank calls / entertainment calls but atleast they’re special: 6 months dating a scammer girl on the phone or completely derailing a conversation to talk about something else, stuff like this. Atleast this is some quality content…

And instead of using their audience to actually guide them torwards scambaiting they refuse to link to scammer.info or any ressources that could help people.

I got banned on Kitboga’s Discord for teaching people the basics of scambaiting. RIP I guess…

@JoeHimself5#100911 A bunch of other you tubers have done that! Even hack into the scammer’s webcam!

@NeeP#100960 I don’t even know what Discord is lol…

@OldManJenkins#100964 Discord is a group chat service that allows to chat with other people in real-time. It was designed for gaming but these days lots of scambaiting communities have their own Discord server for people to communicate. A lot of people of Scammer.info are on our server and chatting there. It’s faster and a bit more “secure”/private as it cannot be seen without joining the server - in contrary to this posts here which are public.

You can find the link to the Discord server by clicking on “Discord” on the top of this page in the purple bar.

@OldManJenkins#100963 Yes I’m totally aware of this fact. I did it once to some refund scammers lol.

@JoeHimself5#100972 Oh wow you’re very advanced lol. Wish I was an expert with this stuff
