I would like to apologise if I’m posting this in the wrong section, I’m new to the forum…
I was just wondering what the best (free) software is to call any number. I've tried to use Fire RTC, but that only makes calls to USA toll-free numbers, it just doesn't work 99% of the time.
I don’t personally use it, but I’ve seen other scambaiters use a program called Mathrawk. I believe it’s free. I don’t know much about it, as I use FireRTC, but it may be worth a try for you.
Well, the fact it just never works… the numbers that I call (all from this site) automatically disconnect. I’ve had the issue for too long now, so I’m just looking for an alternative!
@James1#36414 If you haven’t changed your spoof caller ID, that may be your issue. The default ID is none, which shows up as “No Caller ID” to the scammer, and they know that a number like that is probably a “prank call”, as they say, meaning they’ll hang up. It could also be your internet connection. I really don’t know though, I’ve never had issues like that.
If fixing the things above didn't help, I'd just try Mathrawk. It's probably your best bet.
@James1#36399 I would suggest you look at this video. Also check if the numbers your are dialing are recent ones and are working. I have seen few numbers don’t connect after sometime, but they can become active later on. Its a matter of trial and error with these numbers.
@James1#36415 Use a microphone line a Blue or even an audio interface with a mic and use it with your computer. Log into FireRTC and allow RTC to use your mic.
