Question regarding audio on windows PC

hi guys
i need tech support.
anyone know if i can assign diffrent programs to diffrent audio outputs?
like i like having music on my speakers when scam baiting but i would like to call scammers on my headphones so its eaisier to mute my speakers with a knov instead of pausing the music.

I think you can. Use the windows soundmixer, there you can manage the in- and outputs for apps. Edit: referring to Win10

Voicemeeter may be of use to you.

VB-Audio VoiceMeeter (I’d recommend Potato)

Is there a way to make some apps come out of two different outputs and some 1.
I have managed to get the pc to recognise both outputs

If the app you want to use supports changing the audio device in app, then you can just change it in there. I haven’t used voicemeeter in a long time tho since I switched to linux, on linux it’s much simpler and you don’t need a program that connects output to input

Make your headphones go through voicemeeter and then any app you want to use with speakers make it use your speakers.

Pretty sure windows won’t do that. But I second the VoiceMeeter option. Besides managing different in- and outputs I use it to add some sound effects while baiting.

Make your headphones go through voicemeeter as A1 and then make spakers A2 and make viao3 or whatever for just your speakers so apps you want audio on your speakers will go through viao3 and make viao3 play through A2 and output and aux can be your headphones for example one can be discord to pipe a discord call through to the scammer or one could be for sound effects or one could be chrome to pipe (send) a call to a scammer through your microphone.
