On March 18, 2025, the El Monte Police Department in California arrested 53-year-old Quan Lin for serving as a money mule for an FBI scam against a 73-year-old, where:
- The scammer will call the victim under the guise of an FBI agent and threaten to arrest them for possessing child pornography.
- To avoid being arrested, the victim will be asked to withdraw $25,000 from their bank account and place it in an envelope for a courier to pick it up.
- Afterwards, the victim will receive another call from the scammer, who will falsely claim there were additional warrants for their arrest and demand an additional $35,000.
Lin is now being held at the Central Detention Center in San Bernadino on a $250,000 bond after being charged with
- Elder Fraud
- Grand Theft
- Theft by False Pretenses.

The penalty for these scum should start at 25 years in a prison with a chance of parole at 24 1/2 years. I would also support the death penalty if the scum are foreign nationals. Until this country gets tough, nothing will happen of value.

I am just disgusted with the crime brought in to our country. We have imported so many criminals into the US that we don’t know friend from foe. This isn’t about a race, specific country or color of skin but is 100% about our imported criminals and their families that sponge off the US citizens.
