I’m pretty sick of scary javascript to get people to download and buy crummy software. Three of the worst culprits for adverts which start off like this:

- ReImage Plus (reimageplus.com)
- OneSafe PC Cleaner (onesafe-software.com)
- Auto Mechanic 2018 aka SysCare Technologies aka WinSpeedUtils
In a nutshell, the software is not a real viruses, but it does fall into the malware category under the potentially unwanted program’s (PUP) description. This means that they all demonstrate some undesired and shady behaviour features, yet is not fully malicious. In my book, if you resort to ‘selling’ your software using the type of screens you see above, you need to be called a scammer. I don’t care that it’s your affiliates doing the adverts, this sort of advertising ought to be against your own Ts&Cs. If you tolerate it, you’re as good as these scamming affiliates.
So I am calling out these 3 companies as scammers.
