Thanks for making it PCH the house where dreams come through.
Called 929-280-2808 scammer put the phone down and walked around the room for an hour. While I played country music in the phone. I need to work on my southern accent.
The exact same way they use a real PCH number to send out their garbage robo-recordings.
Trying to lend it a modicum of credibility.
Numbers can have the area code (xxx), then a local prefix (the second group of 3 numbers), then the line number, to end up as XXX-999-999. Area codes may not have the 999 local prefix numbers in use yet. There are many large blocks of numbers in each area code which are not yet allocated by the FCC
This isn’t the case with toll free prefixes
8889999999 for example, is a standard medical alert leadgen/Americas hottest talk line number
The only thing not possible is any local prefix (the second group of 3 numbers) beginning with 0 or 1. Also the second digit cannot be a 9. These are reserved for future use
All valid phone numbers will be XXX-2XX-0000 and above
