So after being recommended alot to get PROTONVPN I of course finally got it!
One question:
Can someone explain to be the this part? The graph, the stuff next to it on the left hand side? Is it better if the digits are higher or lower , is it better if the graph line is also higher or lower ETC ETC ETC? Would be appreciated. Google and Proton Website show nothing in regards to this, they only show about the load (red green yellow) which I now understand at least that. Just curious about this. (This snapshot was from roughly half an hour ago at the time this post was written and uploaded. I have since also switched servers too so yeah…)
Session: length/time.
Down Volume: How many MegaBytes you have downloaded/consumed by loading webpages. (downloading games or videos)
Up Volume: How many MegaBytes you have uploaded/data you have given to websites. (uploading photos ect.)
Down Speed: Higher the better, the speed at which you are downloading.
Up Speed: Higher the better, the speed at which you are uploading.
Uploading is nearly always slower then downloading.
Thank you! What about the Graph itself? What am I looking to see when I look at it from time to time, maybe just to check the current speeds or for whatever reason? What sort of activity in terms of the lines would you say? Is it better to see them both high, one high one low etc etc?
Well I think its just a graph for you to see that the network might be a bit slow.
The dark green line is: Download Speed over Time
The light green line is: Upload Speed over Time
Its best to see them both very high - but that’s unrealistic. so itll usually stay the same - how it is right now.
