Printer Support Scam - Scambaited 4 hours so far

Scam Number: Request callback on their live chat
Scammer’s Website Professional Printer Solutions
When searching for Printer Support on Google, I came across this website for printer support. It looks totally legitimate, even says they are 3rd party. I said my printer is not printing, and I got a callback from the initial guy. He said unplug printer turn on and off, at this point I thought maybe they are not trying to scam and actually trying to be printer support.

However I was determined to see if it was scam, and said this is still not working. Then they said wait 5-10 minutes for call from level 5 technician. Must be very small call center.

After receiving the call from a level 5 technician, he started opening event viewer, filtering for only errors and then showing me. Then going in cmd prompt to show me foreign IP addresses from hackers. At this point I know it is a scam. Now he says one time fee of $199, but you can pay after the service is completed. He said go grab a coffee. Then I see him running antivirus taking screenshots of it being clear, clearing the event viewer history. Trying to install printer drivers.

So after all that, he someohow removed the printer from the VM printer list. I said where is the printer, get it back in the list. Then he starts writing down in notepad the plans. $199 or $3000 for lifetime. For an hour he is saying the printer is very small issue, the hackers are important. He said type your email in notepad, I type a fake email then he says he scanned it and there is hackers. I say but I called for printer issue, I will pay after the issue is fixed. He asks what websites do you shop, I said aliexpress, he finds a news article from 2014 that aliexpress users were compromised. Then finds list of top 10 shopping websites in us and starts saying see 3,2 billion volume was compromised lol.

Finally he gets the printer back in the list after another hour, but its still not printing. So he determines its the cable, I say let me go to the store and get cable then call you back to make payment. He says no, you are very gentle man. pay $2000 now then rest $900, I am giving $100 discount for cable. Then he lowers it to 1500 now, I say I called to fix printer and printer is not working, I will pay after printer is fixed. He says my manager is going to ask me what you are doing for past 3 hours

How to effectively get these printer support scams off google ads, when the actual website is nothing scammy until you go through the process…

I can tell they don’t face many scambaiters

He said he only had 2 client today cus I took his whole day lol
