Premium technical support, need help to close them down

@jlvngstn#57863 great post, everyone should read this.

However, if I may play the devils advocate regarding the futility of wasting their time and that we should direct our efforts to recording them; the local police and government in India is notoriously corrupt, no one is arresting these scammers even when they have been recorded hundreds of times over and reported thousands of times more. Some are huge call centers with hundreds of employees that the government is very aware of and turns a blind eye to.

The recent news article of 45 scammers being arrested in India is a rarity and if we can waste their time, demoralize them, cost them money and piss in their scam scheme then good! At least we're doing some thing and not turning a blind eye and ignoring it like most of the world.

For some they have been scammed or their family has been scammed and they want some sort of revenge or at least some catharsis for their troubles.
At the very least, scambaiting is prank calling at its most moralistic and utilitarian. It's fun, it's entertaining and it gives us a little sense of purpose and redemption on the world. Kitboga is to me, just entertainment with a slight educational value, not the actual investigative work that is required to truly record these guys. Most people watch him for the prank-calling aspect.

So to summarize, yes, educating others on scambaiting, reporting them and recording their activities is all very important and many scambaiters dedicated large chunks of the their free time to do this for free. Besides, there are thousands and thousands of recordings on YouTube and most people realized afterwords that they have been scammed and report it, how many of these scammers were punished? Almost none I bet.
I'm sure whichever agency handles scams in the US (Homeland Security? FBI? idk) are fully aware of them too and can do nothing because the criminals are on the other side of the globe in a city that fully supports their activities.

So I say, fight on! It may feel like pissing in the wind, but we got guys with auto-dialers taking down their phonelines, guys who DDOS their scam-websites, people who get inside the scammer's computer and delete everything, people who waste hours of their time and simply those who love driving them insane! We are warriors :)

@TheMichaelSheeran#57963 Michael, the nr I got from Adaross

@vogner13#57974 Thanks for sharing. I do agree everyone should read this.

@vogner13#57974

I agree with everything said here. Especially the thousands of youtube videos documenting their crimes, I am still pissing in the wind with you. I get my run in, lift my weights, clean the house and then spend the rest of the day keeping them on the phone as keeping them off the phone with those they are scamming hurts their bottom line. I appreciate the well addressed counter point and recommend anyone who read my drivel also read Vogner.

HE’s right.

yes adaross. highlight of my day is calling tje popups.
