Premium Techie Support and Tech Live Connect

After I saw a post a couple days ago, I took to this call center.

The number I originally called was 877 958 7560, they say they are Premium Techie Support, when confronted about scamming they say “this is for registered customers”, so I dug a little.

http://premiumtechiesupport.com

The website lists another number 800 912 9394 and the site has software for download, I called this number and they say there Premium Techie Support again, and when talking about anything other the following there scam, they say “because I’m not receiving a valid response, I will have to release this call”. So I called another Time and asked for the supervisor, he refused because I’m not a registered customer, he did give me this number tho: 18779586560 which I haven’t called yet. But looking at another website http://Techliveconnect.com/ the site has very similar features and another phone number 800 852 6035 and again it says Premium Techie Support. Tech live connects site also has a response to negotiate rumors link at the bottom: https://techliveconnect.com/en-us/our_response_to_negative_reviews.php

The Premium Techie Support site has private domain registration via godaddy, the tech live connect just has the registrant country of Singapore. Then the addresses.... Premium Techie Support has no address listed just numbers and email, tech live connect says:
Asia Headquarters

171 Tras Street, # 07-171
Union Building 079025
Singapore
Which is a building for 3 different buildings. Then:
Mail Routing Address

1010 N. Central Ave.
Glendale, CA 91202
USA
Which is a building for law firm

These clowns can have a relentless, brainless script answering the phone even when confronted by an equally relentless soundboarding “Any time, anywhere!”

to get past the existing user " barrier " just use the name john smith and email [email protected] seemed to worked for me

@kaliban48#53351 I know, it’s the same bull shit everytime, there was one guy who said it wasn’t a scam blah blah blah

See this link for a scathing investigative report on the owner Anuj Jain:

Title: Scare and sell: Here’s how an Indian call centre cheated foreign computer owners

@Puyodead1#53328 been calling them for the past hour they are not getting out of charater wtf. Alls they say now is im not getting a proper response im gonna have to end this call lmfao

I did an exposé on them a while ago… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5RY2IavxGbc

Sounds like the need a bit more exposure before anyone will really take any action. Yes… they deserve to be on a wall of shame.

@JimBrowning11#54042 Thanks for sharing the video!

Of the numbers listed in this thread the one up most consistently is 800 912 9394. This number includes a menu option for ‘technician’ which changes from time to time. Some ‘technicians’ will answer something like ‘Welcome to Premium Techie Support your personal techie support anytime anywhere’ and will drone this 3 times if you don’t answer at once. If they don’t like what they hear, they’ll mumble, ‘As I’m not getting a valid or professional response I’m going to end this call’ three times before hanging up.

Tech Live Support taking time out from scamming for a little hoping and jumping.

@kaliban48#54091 Yeah, thanks for the comment!

@kaliban48#54137 WOW! Lol

This is whats is really fishy:

@kaliban48#54137 At the end the scammers sing the national song (not the national anthem).

They are disgrace to the beautiful patriotic song of India;

Vande Mataram (IAST: Vande Mātaram) (English Translation: Mother, I bow to thee)

(I bow to the mother India)

Unfortunately Tech Live Connect partnered with QVC (A Tele/online shopping channel) without realizing they were a scam and they were continually referring their customers there as they provided them a “TLC” protection code each time they purchased a laptop/pc from QVC and they would need to go to Tech Live Connects website to activate it, their glassdoor reviews state they “steal” companies data which could involve QVC, I have let QVC know but I am not sure if they took any action, they of-course no longer offer the plans with their laptops/PC’s now which is a good thing but there is still people complaining about their old keys for TLC support and people saying the company is now shutdown which is wrong because all they have done is changed name, google “Tech Live Connect QVC” you will see numerous discussions on the QVC forums.

@GrannyAnnette#54338 That is a new angle. I am glad you let us share this finding.

It looks like the employees are having heaps of fun between two scam calls: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CbfKLVnoev8
