Additional information about this scam: Dominicans threatening disconnection. I found the number on validnumber, this group is targeting residential and business:
“My company received a call stating that we were past due and being shut off today in 30 minutes from Com Ed for non payment. I was told to call this number to talk to Comed. I was told they send letters stating that we were being shut off. No such letters. Mind you we have 12 invoices from Comed a month and paid on time. I was told I needed to go to Walmart and pay to not be turned off. I called the ComEd number on my bill, while on hold I also went online to our accounts. We are all current and active…no past dues no disconnect notices on any 12 locations we have. Speaking directly to Comed I let them know all that has transpired and they noted the information on their end.”
I called and emailed but when I called, “Albert” the customer service rep said I was lying about this number being used to scam.

The toll free phone number (888) 409-1646 is being used to scam, I want to make it clear, that number is not making call it is receiving calls. Hello, you have a group of scammers using the RingCentral network to answer as ‘ConEd’ power company,
LET ME MAKE IT CLEAR: I CALLED THEM, THEY DID NOT CALL ME as they are part of a scam campaign to LURE people to call the number above. It works like this: a scammer calls from a spoofed number purporting tb be from your electric company, then this scammer will give the number (888) 409-1646 to call to “fix” an issue with your power electric bill.

888 409 1646 anna in the Philippines tries to promote that their fraud is not scam, that is literally impossible to do in an area as corrupt as the Philippines I made that very clear to anna at the end of my call-out………..
