Additional information about this scam: I received a weird email with the attached image that led to a false link (not copied over here). Calling the number back leads to an American call center, from what I can tell. But Google searching brings up no correct official records of being connected to Globe Life, so these could be impersonators.

Very weird… The email itself had a couple of PDFs like you’d find in a scam email, but I didn’t bother to touch those in case they had viruses. This must have been part of an email blasting campaign, because I am not signed up with them in any way, shape, or form. Oh well, at least the mystery is solved.

It’s still unsolicited but there is so many third party associates collecting all sorts of data about everyone these days.
Several dozen virtual machines and VPN’s rock!! 
They come in handy for things other than massive amounts of dialer programs 
I received 3 unsolicited pieces of mail from this company in 1 day, so I was also wondering about them. Thanks for the posts guys.
