I was just sitting watching TV and got a call from this number. They claimed they wereclling and asking for donations for the NYS Troopers. ( I live in NYS) It sounds innocent enough but it’s scam. No trooper or police officer will ever call and ask for money. If this nuber works for you go to town, these scammers are the worst of the worst. They are also your American scammer so you won’t be hearing those famed Indian accents.
What channel was the ad aired on?
There was no ad, a few years ago people kept getting calls from random numbers and they claimed to be troopers asking for money. The news picked up on it and contacted the trooper office and they said that no trooper/police officer will ever call and ask for money.
