Now, the reason for my call or personally contacting you as well as other businesses in the area in an outreach to honor our brave police who risk their lives daily, serving and protecting our communities. In an increase over last year, we lost more than 130,000 law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty. As a paid fundraiser for residential programs, I’m mailing out he pledge kit for supporting businesses. Your gift helps support the goal of the drive, which helps provide financial assistance to the overall general welfare of the members and the families of the largest police organization in the state, comprised of more than 45,000 police officers.
