Guess who the carrier is? PEERLESS NETWORK! Yay, between Peerless and Onvoy - it appears that almost all scams are on their networks!
I called for the first time and a woman named “Tony” or “Toni” answered. Yes, she seemed to be a LIVE human being rather than a pre-recorded voice of a real human being. She spent a good minute or two going into her spiel. When she finished I told her to shove “her criminal head up her [an orifice of the human body]!” She said indignantly that she won’t tolerate such behavior. I laughed and told her, “Until we speak again, you criminal [expletive].” She hung up.
Did you get a woman who said she is “Tony” also, @MehNamesJeff? I am gonna call some more to see who answers.

On subsequent calls after my first call where the woman “Tony” went into her script, now they just answer with a suspicious “Hello” and they no longer are reading their script.
This afternoon I’ll send an email about Peerless/Onvoy.
Nope, lady didn’t identify herself. When I pretended to go with the scam, she transferred me to the so called “Billing Department” some guy starting with a B as his name answered… I think he said his name was brian or… some shit lol.
Typical political PAC. They are very deceptive. People think they are donating to the police, sheriff’s, women’s issues, breast cancer, etc etc. The money goes to lobbyists, supposedly to try to get politicians to vote for things.
It walks a very fine edge between being legal and not being legal.
They are grossly deceptive and choose their script very, very carefully to walk that tightrope.

ic3.gov and reportfraud.ftc.gov might want to hear anything you can report. I have a hunch that ic3.gov might have some humans reading reports every now and then.
The billing guy is Brandon. He’s actually the automated guy, as the exact same voice under a different name was on a buddy of mine’s youtube channel for a different police coalition thing. I suspect the first line of people is real humans, though.
