@Krix welcome! Better late than never right?
This is weird… I first went on https://virus-pros.com/, navigated on their site a little bit, and all of a sudden the web page disappeared with a message that this connection is not secure, etc. (see screenshot). My PC can’t access both sites now. I don’t use any security, not even windows defender. I wonder what happened…

Interestingly, it’s not a new domain registration. Several years old, since December 2019. But it’s not always online as a prior post here noticed. Again, more on that in a moment .

These guys have history. Their business scam is known to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) in the US.

And here we see the address they use is false, and their website was taken down. But unfortunately is back online today when I looked.
Alert:
On 03-10-2021, BBB opened an investigation on PC Virus Pros due to consumer allegations. According to the complaint file, consumers allege the company uses pop up ads to infect personal computers with malware. Computer screens are frozen then the company provides another screen with a phone number which is used to obtain banking information and credit card numbers from consumers, requiring payments to release the individual’s computer. BBB confirmed that the address/location listed on PC Virus Pros’ website and advertising is not their correct address/location. BBB strongly cautions consumers from doing business with PC Pros Virus at this time. As of 1/3/2022, website is no longer active.
Their BBB Rating & Accreditation is F. You cannot get a lower rating than that. For some reason they do respond to complaints, 77% of the time. They probably outsource to India or such, paying a pittance to agents there to run their scam.
