Thank you for your effort and time. I purchased a software with my credit card in October. I didn’t receive the download link. They gave me a dubious product tracking number and tracking website from another country, which is strange because all I needed was a download link. I chased the matter but they replied once only and now the vendor email address is not found anymore. I asked “Äre you a scam?”, naturally the reply was “No”. Now they are spamming me into my email, luckily all goes into the Spam folder.

Make sure to let local law enforcement know. I’m sure they would be able to help as long as you provide as much evidence as possible. In fact, you should send them this thread from the top. Copy this link to send as evidence: http://scammer.info/t/please-report-these-sites/78244

Welcome

Welcome @Tomcat_ZA! Also thank you for reporting ! Each report is like saving one scam victim at a time.

If you feel so inclined, report the spam. It gets the senders shut down. It also adds them to blacklists which are used by email device providers.

The best service I have found is Spamcop by Cisco

You just need to learn how to copy and paste the plain text email headers and content. It has reduced my spam volume because over time the senders do work out who is reporting them.

A client of mine let a scammer called Mark onto her PC. The usual tech support scam. Luckily she called me……and didn’t pay him a dime. HE COMPLETELY LOCKED HER OUT OF HER PC and went in a back door and tried to change information on her Wells Fargo Brokerage account. He changed the account PHONE NUMBERS. Client’s daughter has now gone in and removed his numbers and changed passwords etc. No money taken.
I had client call scammer while I was there but he refused to give the code to unlock the computer. She needed to get “security cards”. I’ve now blocked his phone numbers on her phone. He’s a real piece of shit. I threatened him but he wasn’t phased. She said she’s calling FBI….he said go ahead.
This is the originating phone number : 805 5196766
These are phone numbers he put on Wells Fargo account: 551 2573877 and 702 4831007
I called both numbers and the VM said it’s 'Mark…. Please leave a message. ’ Same name….same phony accent.
I told daughter to report those numbers to Wells Fargo.

Scammer was playing Bollywood (Indian) music when I dialed 702 4831007
His fake name “Mark”

He was baited yesterday. So he is wary of anyone calling him. He tried to do a zelle transaction again but luckily it was rejected. He is pure evil. Can his number be taken down somehow?

You could also create a facebook page of their websites (if they don’t have any social media presence) and really tell the truth about what they’re doing. e.g. We’re scammers and we con people through deception and we’re from nigeria. And make them the target of the law enforcements.
Hope this helps.

805 Number has been taken down…finally. But the 702 number is still active and the voice mail has his voice.
