I was just talking on the phone landline to landline and the call was interrupted. I could no longer speak to the person on the other end. An automated jingle began to play. The automated message said we are here to connect businesses to businesses, to connect to U.S. cellular services please press 1. I hung up. Is this a whole new level of scamming?
I think the scammer’s toll free number expired while you were on the phone.
No, I was making a phone call to a colleague. I was not scambaiting.
