Scammers are busy today, making inbound calls to home phone numbers. I received a handful today, here’s one from a PG&E pretender. He said my electricity will be disconnected within the hour for non payment. I “owe” $295.20,
Here's something new. Now they don't tell you to go to 7-11 to buy a gift card. You now pay through Zelle, and the recipient is the PG&E "supervisor" named Guillermo Mota, phone number 201-249-9106. I called the number, a person with a fake Spanish accent answered. I said I'm sending you money, en Español, and he hung up. Now he doesn't pick up anymore.
Just wanted folks to be aware of this new payment method. And if he happens to answer, please report back here. Thanks.
