Got the same guy lol. The funny thing is that it sounded like he said “Ugh, this man” before he said “Thank you for calling… blah blah blah”. He doesn’t really sound like he enjoys his job too much haha.

Once remotely cxonnected to my virtual machine, “Tony” asked me to log into my Norton account and try to sign me up for a 5-year “Norton 360 Standrad” plan that includes a “3-year human technical suppoat” for $499.
Instead of providing fake card details, I asked if I could send a check. “Tony” responded by having me sign an online check to Rediscover System USA, Inc, an American front for PCMagic Software Private Limited who was previously reported for impersonating McAfee and operating under the identity of PC Magic USA, Inc.. The company is listed as operating out of PLOT NO.24, RAJ VIHAR PHASE-2 NEAR FOOTBALL GROUND, JAGJITPUR, KANKHAL , JWALAPUR , HARIDWAR, Uttarakhand, India - 249408
The company, according to the Better Business Bureau, is owned and operated by Sukhminder Singh while Amardeep Singh serves as their registered agent, according to OpenCorporates, and the President of PC Magic according to the BBB. ZaubaCorp, however, lists the active directors as Pratik Aswal, who also serves as the director for Secure Waves Mutual Benefit Nidhi Limited, and Rakesh Singh.
