Additional information about this scam: The dead Dave Sayers called me. He sounded pretty good from the grave. He told me I won 4.5 million, $7000 and a Mercedes. He wanted me to open a new checking account and put 80,000 dollars for taxes.

I cannot believe people fall for this. Richard says it is pure greed and avarice which blinds people to the truth. All you have to do is type PCH into Google and you get a page of scam warnings.
I think that is some of it. I also believe that some old folks are drawn to it because they want to provide a better life for their children and grandchildren.
So we are old folks, kinda, we don’t. Neither does my 84 year old neighbor.
Not everyone has internet especially older people.
Good documentary on PCH impersonators with I believe two victims.
Well, after Monday you’re officially old. I mean, you better enjoy yourself because you only have a couple of good years left.
