My husband was scammed out of nearly $600 yesterday by contacting who he thought was Paypal tech support. The number he called was out of HI (808) 437-7687. We are fuming mad, and I don’t understand how anyone can fall for this type of gift card scam, but they do. I called the number myself when I got home and the man I spoke to was a pushy little thing. I gave him a fake name and number, and insisted that I download an app to my phone so they could remote into my device. He ended up hanging up on me after I called him some choice names and told him he was speaking to the wife of the man he scammed earlier in the day.
