They claimed someone opened an account under my name and stole my identity. Then they type out their name, employee ID and, then just type

Then start a “report” for their security team. It’s just so laughable.
I know right! Sometimes I disable notepad & cmd on my VM to amuse myself watching their ineptness.

One scammer put a cmd script on my VM desktop that was the most clever one I saw so far. It asked for the usual, name, email and what not, but when you hit enter it would go down a line and say “Verified!” or “Accepted”. Actually looked legit compared to you entering your name “Dave” in the command line and then hitting enter and it saying “Dave not accepted entry”.
Wow, interesting to say the least! Guess they’re not all mush brains. I actually like when they come up with some intelligent challenges, but that’s very rare.
