Claims to be in Cupertino (I asked him how the tornadoes were there…LOL)
So I got a text on my cell phone warning me that I had sent $350 to Roger Penny. Naturally, I just had to give them a call to see what was up. I skipped the first part as it was the usual stuff downloading AnyDesk etc. etc. He saw the fake bitcoin wallets on my VB desktop (he totally missed the VirtualBox appellation when he did netstat, and it was fun to watch him struggle to get things to work, but now he’s convinced I’m going to call him back tomorrow with my Yubico key (need to get it from the safe deposit box, of course) tomorrow. It was also fun to hear him admit to tornadoes in Cupertino before he checked the weather there. I doubt if they’ve ever had a tornado. LOL. I won’t call him back, but I bet he tries to call me back several times. They are lusting after that bitcoin wallet. In case anyone is interested, the host OS was ArcoLinux (Cinammon desktop) with LinuxFx in the VB
