I had a group of 8 RC numbers I tried to report last week. I was amazed that I couldn’t do it online, and there’s no option when you call. I wound up getting tossed around a Filipino call center for 20 min before I realized it was fruitless and gave up

It’s hit and miss, their customer line is worthless. So in the rare chance I call Ring Central, I just say I am a customer wanting a free trial and that I wanna do an Amazon impersonation with the number. You should hear their responses!! “Oh no ma’am, we don’t allow RingCentral numbers to do any type of scam!”

I had a very well-mannered scammer for a change, he explained his remote software and said he would be able to control my VM and so forth, he was shocked when I told him I knew where he was, oh well.

I wrote an email to him about all their scams last week. I would be inclined to use something along these lines, if I were you:
Dear Chairman Carr,
There is a serious concern that I need to share with you. I am writing to bring to your attention serious issues related to RingCentral’s role in facilitating illegal robocalls through its platform. Despite numerous efforts to address this issue through the company’s designated channels for fraud reporting, RingCentral’s response time and track record have been disappointingly poor.
Over the course of our team’s experience with RingCentral, we have used three different email addresses specifically for reporting fraud on their network, but unfortunately, the company has consistently chosen to ignore complaints. Unlike other more reputable VOIP providers, who take immediate action to curb fraud on the same day, RingCentral’s lack of response has allowed countless scams to proliferate on their network.
A recent thread dedicated to the fraud case studies linked to RingCentral can be found here: RingCentral Fraud Response Case Study. This thread highlights a growing number of scams using RingCentral’s platform, many of which appear to be originating from overseas clients.
Given the importance of curbing illegal robocalls and protecting consumers, I respectfully urge you to investigate this matter and encourage RingCentral to take more decisive action. We believe that a proactive response from the FCC could help address this issue more effectively and ensure that all telecom providers, including RingCentral, are held accountable for the services they provide.
Thank you for your attention to this pressing issue. We greatly appreciate the work of the FCC in combating illegal robocalls, and we are hopeful that with your intervention, RingCentral will be compelled to take the necessary steps to address this problem.

I believe that these RC crooks led by their Jewish-Ukrainian multibillionaire CEO Vladimir Shmunis might be getting close to overtaking Onvoy as the biggest safe haven for scams and illegal robocalls. If I were Onvoy, I’d be worried! Losing business to Ukrainian crooks!
