Bandwidth: Fraud Support Experience (Case Study)

Number Report Report Time: 27/02/2024 17:05:25 Number: 8888112551 Carrier: BANDWIDTH Report Notes: I am reporting this number for fraud. The customer is using this number to conduct a fraudulent refund scam. The customer sends fake invoices and entices callers to let them connect to their computer to process a refund. This is an attempt to get access to the callers bank and other financial information. This operation is being run from an illegal call center in India. Report Times:

HIGHLIGHTS FROM VIRTUAL MACHINE BAIT:

• The scammers blocked my Google Voice line, but was able to bait from my TextNow line… until I told them I don’t use PayPal that much. The number now presents a busy line.
