Additional information about this scam: email came in claiming that my transaction for bitcoin was successful for $499.99. The email claims that I have successfully made a purchase of Bitcoin but I need to view and pay the invoice. A call to the number gets you scammers in India. The fake invoice tries to get you to log in via a fake portal. Invoice is numbered 0047 dated Sept 8 2022 for $499.99. Have at the Goat F#$%ers

The first number turned out to be the Medicare scam. Fooled around with them a bit, then tried a different number and got the good old Paypal types. They were ultimately non-plussed by my inability to use the computer to log into my bank. I also have their connection blocked so they can’t do much. After loading up 5 (!) instances of Anydesk they decided to call me back tomorrow. They were kind enough to give me a call back # Paul Harrison, 808 999 0729

Told him my 82 year old mother got this email and please explain it as she has no Paypal account. I let him go on for awhile and then asked what my mothers name is and of course he got all pissed off. The language he used towards me was vile as usual. The names they use! Lex Johnson?
