I have a window of opportunity today to mess with criminals.
Today is Monday, Dec. 16th, 2024. I just got into my TextMe app and I see that two days ago I got a text message from (689) 326-7480 that reads as follows, and I am typing the text message exactly as I received it with all of their stupid errors.:

PaypalTC on 2024/12/13 fxnid528awq27 If NOT you Call Now 18284634893 For Dispute
So I searched in this site and found this thread for the same 'phone number.
I am calling now out of curiosity just in case these criminals are using still this (828) 463-4893.
No, I got the robo message when I called that “the number you dialed is not in service.” It seems the criminals are not using this 'phone number any longer.
